Oops,

So, I know I said I would explain the story behind Reggie "tomorrow" and tomorrow turned into a week..

Basically, from what I've gathered. Reggie took a cab home from the W after a party and got into a verbal altercation with the driver about his fare. Somehow, it escalated to Reggie stripping naked and hopping on cars in his neighborhood in Playa Vista (Southern Cali-La area). A neighbor hears the commotion and calls 911.. Two cops arrive on the scene, by then Reggie http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=2660907265408582151had his boxers on. The two cops and Reggie then get into a PHYSICAL altercation and they shoot him twice. Which makes NO sense, then could have easily tased or maced him. Is he has on only boxers, WHERE WOULD A WEAPON BE? But, then cops wanna go to the hospital for minor injuries? AFTER YOU JUST KILLED AN UNARMED MAN? Forreal?

I didnt know Reggie in real life.. We met via twitter, exchanged PINs for BBM and chatted a few times. But from what I gathered, he was a cool person. Hella funny, with a sarcastic attitude that I didnt like a times. But it was all fun and games. His funeral service is this weekend out here in Yulee, FL. I dont know where the hell that is, but if i was able to go, I'd definitely attend the services. It's hard losing someone that you knew. Regardless of how long you've known them. Hopefully, he's with the Lord above... #GAMETIME! The video below was shot the day of his shooting..

So, it's been almost a complete year since I've blogged. A LOT has happened which over the next few posts, i'll touch on. I've met some amazing people and disregarded some NOT so amazing people from my life. I think my circle is content now and I absolutely ADORE everyone that is in it. I have a new love in my life, someone who is VERY unexpected. He's pretty much amazing, but we're not together.. Weird? But it makes sense. Later, i may reveal his identity or a may not. We'll see how everything plays out.

As far as everything else in life, I NEED A NEW JOB! I cant stand my job. Yes, i'm blessed to have a job.. But, i need a higher paying job for all the tangible things I like to spoil myself with. Hence, I just bought a new 2011 jeep patriot last month. I am SO excited, but it's bittersweet because now i'm all grown up. Car payments, insurance payments, credit card bill... OMG! But hey, everything will work out for itself.

This weekend I'm going to the East/West Shrine game in Orlando to watch my two long time friends Jeron Johnson (Boise State) and Virgil Green (Nevada) play in their last collegiate games. I'm exciteddd! Hopefully the West wins! I always keep it WEST COAST no matter what! Then next weekend, im traveling up to Mobile, AL to catch the Senior Bowl. NOW THIS is what I'm excited about, get to see all the top NCAA players in one game? How cool is that? Not to mention, one of my best friends Colin Kaepernick (who happens to be the 1st player from UNR to play in the SBowl since 1998) was invited to play.. so I get to see him play in his last collegiate game as well.. along with Austin Pettis and Titus Young (both from Boise) representing the WAC!! #PlayUp!

Ugh, i keep coughing myself to death. I'll post again tomorrow!!
